Our Team

Gabriel Dobner

Gabriel Dobner has recorded for Ottavo, MDG and Hänssler Klassik Profil.  His first recording for MDG, consisting of songs of Liszt, Dvorák and Mahler with mezzo-soprano Cornelia Kallisch, won high praise from BBC Music Magazine, Fono Forum and the West German Radio in Cologne, who referred to Mr. Dobner as a “master among collaborative pianists”.  Mr. Dobner’s first recording with Metropolitan Opera star, Gerhard Siegel was released in the fall of 2015 for Haenssler Klassik Profil. Mr. Dobner’s latest recording with Baritone Laurence Gien was completed in early fall, 2016 and will be used for a feature film focusing on Schubert’s Winterreise song cycle. Mr Dobner  is currently Proffessor for piano at the James Madison University Virginia

Todd Urban

Todd initially studied as a jazz bassist and pianist at William Paterson University. He later received a Masters degree in String Education from Montclair State University. Most recently, he was awarded a Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music, where he focused on Microphone Techniques, Engineering/Mixing, Sound Design, Mastering, World Composition Styles, Acoustics, and Electronic Composition/Production.

 

Todd is the owner and main engineer at Urban Sound Studio, located right outside of New York City. As an Apple Logic Pro instructor, Todd helps to setup and support many studios around the world. He provides Skype support to studio owners and aspiring engineers in Universal Audio products, Propellerhead Reason, and plugin suites by iZotope, Native Instruments, Brainworx, and Softube.

 

Laurence Gien

Laurence Gien was born in South Africa. His love and talent for music was obvious from an early age. He attended the University of Cape Town and went on to the Hochschule für Musik in Munich. He bcame a principal soloist at the Gärtnerplatz Opera House in Munich , followed by residencies at the State Theater Kassel and the State Theater Braunschweig. He quickly became a welcome guest at a slew of leading European opera houses, from the Royal Opera house in Stockholm in the North to the Istanbul State opera in the South of Europe. He has also established himself in the world of art song and is a regular  soloist at major European concert venues. Needless to say he is also a  recording artist with labels such as BMG Ariola and Naxos. Television appearnces on Bavarian State television amongst others round off his artistic profile.

Janina Horn

Janina studied art at the Unniversity of Eichstätt  recently completed her Masters degree in Fine art focusing on media and Culture. She has made a huge contibution to our production by placing our visual ideas in a viable , practical context as a storyboard artist.
